BUY THE WINE

Michel Bettane and Thierry Desseauve: One of the most impressive wines of the vintage in the Medoc. Great color, wonderful texture, firm but ripe tannins, magnificent length. this is a great wine to buy en primeur. 18.5

Michael Schuster: Dense, mineral, and blackberry-ripe cabernet to smell; elegant, concentrated, very fine-textured in tannin, fresh in acidity; long, even, complete palate in a firm, linear, long-term style with a freshly ripe, subtly aromatic, gravelly flavor; classy St-Julien with the classic, fine, Left bank claret profile of elegance, freshness, complexity, definition, and fine fruit and aroma persistence. Slightly austere, but nothing mean. 2024–38. 17.5
