BUY THE WINE

Michael Schuster: Relatively closed, gently cedary nose: a combination of ripe melon and peach fruit and mineral impressions; beautifully balanced, graceful wine, dry yet ripe, with almost a touch of austerity to it from the density and low yield; bone-dry, juicy, and vigorous all at once, quite muscular for haut-brion blanc, with great mouth-fillling mineral complexity allied to its characteristic elegance and overall finesse; power, purity, density, and great length. Long-term satisfaction. 2022–32. 19
