Michel Bettane and Thierry Desseauve: Very pretty fruit, rich texture, nice tannins, quite delicate for the vintage, and with lots of charm. 17.5
Michael Schuster: dense, oak-cedary, and fragrant to smell; rich, elegantly balanced, long-term, and fairly structured graves, with fresh acidity, firm tannin and plenty of it; generous and ripe in fruit, with a marked mineral complexity, plenty of “flesh” to balance the tannin, giving an almost velvety impression alongside the overall firmness; long to taste and long to finish. Fine, long-term Smith—it will be very satisfying but will need time. 2021– 35. 17
