Michel Bettane and Thierry Desseauve: Full-bodied and round, luscious fruit, clearly not as much as in 2009 or 2010, but it is seductive, rich, and fresh. Lots of charm and energy, combined with good depth. 18
Michael Schuster: a fine, minerally nose; a beautifully balanced, beautifully made wine, with very fine-grained tannins and a fresh non-intrusive acidity; freshly sweet, pure, gently minerally fruit, juicy, classy, long, and graceful across the palate; no excess firmness on the finish, and fine, fragrant length. Shows the quality of 2011 cabernet Franc: a really lovely angélus, very harmonious in the year and likely to come around relatively quickly. 2019–30+. 17.5
