Michael Schuster: Dense, ripe fruit, slightly severe in impression; firmly tannic, long-term, muscular wine; abundant black fruit behind the structure; sapid, quite strong and mouth-coating, though with a clear minerality behind the fruit extract, and with fine length of both fruit and aroma. More solid than its nature hitherto, and good in its sinewy style, but this will require a good 10–12 years to begin to mellow. 2022–32+. 16
