Michel Bettane and Thierry Desseauve: Bright, full, and rich, with great fruit and wonderful depth and length. one of the greats, with the most exceptional tannic structure of the vintage. 19

Michael Schuster: Sweet and oaky ripeness on the nose; elegantly balanced, fairly full-bodied wine, with a vivid acidity and firm tannin; elegance and purity of sweet fruit within very chewy if fine-grained tannins, and with good, fragrant fruit length. Late picking— well into october—has given this a faintly raisiny character, and it seems to lack just a little “freshness” of fruit, despite the vital acidity. we shall see... It will certainly need time. 2025–35+. 16.5
