BUY THE WINE

Michel Bettane and Thierry Desseauve: The wine is quite dense, with notes of blackberry and blueberry; it’s balanced with both power and elegance. 17.5

Michael Schuster: (not yet finally assembled) Sweet, ripe, and fragrant to smell; very nice graceful balance, with a fine, slightly oak-dry tannin texture, but no excess of extract, a fresh not obtrusive acidity, and a delicious core of very ripe fruit, typical of the best of the vintage in its freshness and purity; showy, fleshy, yet fresh and long in the mouth, with a wonderful fruit persistence, a throat- coating sweet fruit fragrance. gently, ripely classy, not powerful, but a wine to put a smile on one’s face, where you almost feel the spring’s warmth in the showy ripeness of the fruit. one of the nicest clinets to date. 2019– 30+. 17.5
