BUY THE WINE

Michel Bettane and Thierry Desseauve: The nose, as well as the first taste, is amazingly floral, the substance of this wine offers both freshness and well-integrated, almost creamy tannins. nice volume. 17

Michael Schuster: dense and mineral to smell; moderately concentrated, firm medium-weight, firm in tannin and acidity; a limited, dry, pure, core fruit, with a feeling of “just about ripe” to it, modest in scope across the palate, medium length in aftertaste. a lean impression currently, which maybe elevage will fill out. Certainly feels as though it will need a fair amount of time in bottle. 2022–30+. 16
