BUY THE WINE

Michael Schuster: A touch of milky oak on the nose, and a touch mineral as well; a lively, lightweight Sauternes, medium-sweet, and in a refreshing apéritif style, of modest complexity and medium length. Bastor is deliberately made in this less sweet, lighter style and does it very successfully. Nothing grand here, but plenty of harmonious, easy, simple pleasure. 15
