Andrew Jefford: Pale to mid-gold in color. Rich, intricately fruity, with a muted pastry-dough richness behind. Rather a placid and uneventful aromatic profile compared to the best wines in the tasting, but very clean and skillfully vinified. On the palate, the wine is dry, frank, fresh, and straightforward. Good, well-made stuff, with some finishing minerality to amplify the back palate. Satisfying rather than exciting overall. 14

Andreas Larsson: Nice purity and depth on the nose, mineral and elegant, yet with an abundance of ripe fruit. The palate appears bone-dry and strict, offering elegant stone-fruit flavors, bright acidity, and very good length. 16

Stephan Reinhardt: Straw-yellow color. Quite yeasty and with new-oak and mocha aromas that turn to caramel and burned sugar on the palate. Racy acidity yet elegantly structured. Due to the sur lie aging, this wine is quite reductive at the moment and not very charming, though the material is again ripe and concentrated. Very pure and mineral wine. I would prefer to pour it into a decanter and to score it tomorrow. No chance, of course, to do so. 15.5
