Michel Bettane and Thierry Desseauve: Without doubt the most successful of recent Belgraves: a cedary, very racy nose worthy of a great St-Julien, with ample structure, noble tannin, and remarkable balance between power and freshness. This will probably be exceptional value. 16.5/17
Michael Schuster: Inky; very ripe fruit to smell; medium-full wine with a firm, dry tannin and with a refined, juicy fruit at its heart; moderately complex, nice length, a fine Belgrave with the characterisitic slight firmness of the inland plateau, just west of St-Julien. Will still drink well relatively early. 2013–20+. 15
