Michel Bettane and Thierry Desseauve: Verbena-scented, like some other samples, and very refined: pure, streamlined, not quite fully formed yet so definitely worth another tasting in six months. 16

Michael Schuster: Pale gold; ripe, grapey Sauvignon Blanc and subtle oak cedar to smell; richly, ripely fruity middleweight with a lively backbone of acidity; juicy and vivid, with excellent aromatic length, and yet doesn’t seem quite as aromatically racy and fine on the mid-palate as I remember the ’07 being. That said, clearly a taut, fine, and complete Fieuzal. 2015–25. 16.5/17?
