Michel Bettane and Thierry Desseauve: Plenty of finesse and purity, airy body and handsome acidity. The texture has that crystalline texture typical of this type of terroir, in contrast to the creaminess of Sauternes from the slopes. Still reserved. 16.5

Michael Schuster: Greeny gold; scented, minerally nose; rich, gentle, fresh rather than vital in acidity; intensely sweet, very mineral-infused, long and complex, classically elegant Barsac, complex, minerally, and refined, long and vibrant, and with excellent length. Potentially a splendid Coutet. 17/18+
