Stephen Brook: Discreet apricot nose; quite flowery, too. Fresh attack, lean and precise, with bright apricot fruit and an appealing tightness of structure. The acidity gives the wine some tautness and linearity, which are appealing and bode well for its future. At present, it’s not that nuanced, but the balance is fine and the weight just about right. This should age nicely. Good length. 17

Simon Larkin: Very rich aromas—and very opulent, too. The palate shows ripe fruit of admirable richness, mouth-filling if not poised. There is a broad swathe of fruit, slaty and mineral-infused. This is powerful, with a very lively citrus accent. Long and persistent—an impressive Riesling. 14.5

Andreas Larsson: Pure and intense nose, with rather tropical fruit and some stony notes; rather complex, too. The palate is vibrant and profound, with delicious fruit, a lip-smacking freshness, and a very long and tempting finish. Expressive and very pure—downright delicious. 19
