Stephen Brook: Dumb nose. Rich, assertive, concentrated, and quite powerful, this has an impressive sturdiness and minerality, like pebbles being dragged across the palate. It’s not nuanced, but it tastes very young, so more subtle flavors should emerge with time. Admirably long to finish. 17.5

Simon Larkin: A nose of apricot sherbet and peach; the palate shows a livelier, zestier acidity than anticipated. Really marked, fresh Cox’s apple acidity—almost a green-fruit liveliness. Very pure and well delineated, this Riesling shows an appealing weight, as well as terrifically pure fruit characters. A little strict, perhaps, but a wine with fine potential. 14.5

Andreas Larsson: Rather young and unresolved, but with nice purity. Crisp fruit on the palate, with hints of ripe citrus and minerals and good freshness on the rather long finish. Still needs some time to reach its peak. 16
