Stephen Brook: Very ripe and spicy nose, with mineral notes and apricot fruit arm-wrestling for dominance. Rich and forthright, with very ripe fruit sustained by admirable concentration. This has an appealing muscularity and minerality. There’s real grip here and an almost earthy persistence of flavor. Splendid now, and it should improve further. 17

Simon Larkin: More restrained than some aromatically. Floral, peachy, clean-cut aromas. There is a lovely ripe core of fruit here, with slaty mineral nuances. Very textural, with a fine weave of minerality and peach fruit; and despite the weight, there is pleasing lift here. Very mineral and quite forthright—an intense, appealing style. 13

Andreas Larsson: Very nice purity, pristine and aromatic, with minerals and stone fruit. Really nice palate, with good depth of flavor and very good persistence. Nicely made, with delicate fruit and an invigorating freshness. Fine potential. 18.5
