Stephen Brook: Dumb nose, peachy and waxy and quite opulent. The attack is creamy rather than racy, with a plumpness of fruit and a breadth of flavor that are certainly appealing. Only moderate acidity, so there is a slight heaviness here. It’s far from clumsy, but it’s thick and lacking in length. 14.5
Simon Larkin: Quite viscous in the glass, the aromas here are of sweet, ripe fruit, honey-coated. Mouth-filling, comparatively loose-knit; there is a touch of peppery spice, something more herbal lending complexity to an amalgam of exotic fruits. This has the peachy softness and scented edge that leads to early drinking appeal. A wine that shows generosity without seeming too heady. Lively, fresh acidity to finish. 13
Andreas Larsson: Quite mineral nose, with some earthy notes and hints of licorice root and oriental spice. The palate is unctuous and round, with generous fruit and a medium-high acidity. It appears a bit sweet on the finish, with a nice, creamy texture. 15.5
