Michael Schuster: Dark, brick-edged red; dense, sweet, caramel and raisin bouquet; concentrated, firm, fresh, concentrated and tannic wine; plenty of fruit within a very firm and chewy texture; tasty ripe fruit within the chewyness without - yet – the refinement that the new management would bring, especially from 2001 on; finishes a little short, the tannin pinching a bit. Good – not special. 2015-25?
