Michael Schuster: Dark, purple-hued black red; rich, sweetly ripe cassis nose – full of promise; rich, supple, fleshy wine, with a firm Pauillac tannin; long, generous, fresh and juicy, a characteristically seductive LB! Broad, ripe, scented and satisfying wine. The juiciness of the best 2000’s allied to Pauillac sinew, but no coarseness, and with excellent length. 2012-30+
