BUY THE WINE

Michael Schuster: Narrow rimmed, youthful, black red; a fine, concentrated scent but very youthful, very closed, still marked by its new wood; rich, concentrated, fairly vigorous wine with a firm, sinewy tannin, a fine, firm, long term constitution; plenty of ripe fruit here to flesh out the bones, sweetly, freshly ripe, long, aroma filled, minerally flavour; plenty of complexity, a very well sustained blend of fruit and aromas, and with excellent fruit and scent length; a fine, complete, long term wine, austere as yet, but plenty of matter there. Likely, like many 2000’s, to always have a slightly stiff, military bearing? 2020-50+
