Michael Schuster: Very ripe blackberry nose, quite marked minerality, too; well balanced in a fairly powerful way, with firm St-Estèphe tannins, a lively acidity, and plenty of fruit behind; long and juicy, but certainly in a fairly solid, chewy style; typical, muscular, St-Estèphe; a satisfying fruit bomb but not without finesse, and with very good, sweet fruit and fragrance persistence. 2014–22+. 15/15.5+
