BUY THE WINE

Michael Schuster: A lovely, perfumed, persistent, and particularly refined nose of blackberry and mineral; crisp acidity defining a very ripe fruit on a minerally medium-weight wine; a sweet, quite dense fruit within the firm St-Estèphe tannin, but lovely matter behind it, and good fruit length, too; excellent Le Crock, one of the best ever. 2015–25. 15/15.5
