BUY THE WINE

Michael Schuster: Dense nose, oak- and mineral-marked for the present; very nice balance of fruit to fine tannin and fresh acidity; fresh, fully ripe mineral-tinged red fruit in flavor, with moderate complexity, fairly firm tannin on the finish, and good fruit length. A bit on the stern side, and will need six years at least, but a very satisfying Gloria. 2015–25. 15+/15.5
