Michael Schuster: Ripe, roasted fruit on the nose—sweet Cabernet; very nicely balanced, rich, and fleshy middleweight, fresh in acidity, very fine in tannin; long, velvety, juicy-cored, sweetly ripe fruit to taste, quite floral, very fine gravel aromas, alongside the lightly dry tannin on the finish. Excellent fruit length. Typical du Tertre: up-front, fleshy, forward, round character. 2015–25. 15.5/16
Michel Bettane and Thierry Desseauve: Pretty but complex fruit, an unctuous and easygoing character; long, but the finish lacks determination, energy, and personality, at least at the highest level. 16
