Michael Schuster: Dark red; dense, ripe fruit and cedar-oak nose; fairly concentrated fruit at present dominated by its oak-dry tannin; fine, ripe, quite complex, mineral-scented flavor, marred for the moment by a very dry wood tannin that pinches the wine and distracts from the core fruit pleasure, drying the finish especially. Good, but needs plenty of time. 2015–25. 15.5
