BUY THE WINE

Tim Atkin: Deep color, youthful and vigorous. Super nose, bags of potential, still very young, lots of oak, but well integrated. Fresh acidity, slightly tarry. Supple tannins, complex and long, refined, refreshing, essence of Ribera. Touch of reduction, but a refreshing, poised, balanced wine, minerally and long. 18.5

Jesús Barquín: Medium to deep cherry. Serious, with good fruit concentration, firm tannins—not aggressive; earthy texture. Noteworthy. 16

Alex Hunt: On the nose, nuts, dried peel, raisins, but also slightly stalky. More like Madeira than Port! The palate has reasonable focus and fruit given the bizarre aromas, but alcohol is a problem here. It just feels more fortified than it should. 13.5
