Michael Schuster: Ripe and with a slightly kirsch-like character, plus subtle oak; nicely balanced, full, no trace of excess; a fine purity of fruit, almost delicate; firmly tannic, elegant, gentle, and fragrant; a faintly bittersweet kirsch character as on the nose but no asperity, no coarseness, and fine, scented length. Lovely fruit-quality at its heart, but a long-term dry tannin to absorb first. 2022–35+. 16/17
