Michael Schuster: Dense, roasted, ripe blackberry fruit; a tinge of new oak, and a touch of mineral underneath; rich, concentrated, densely packed wine, with a sweet, pure, concentrated fruit framed by a firm, long-term tannin. Prolonged and pure and juicy to taste, with just a hint of the dryness of the year, fresh acidity defining the taste all the way; terrific, scented, subtly fruit-cored length. Lovely, elegant, long-term wine; exceptional Right Bank elegance for the year, despite the alcoholic weight. 2022–40+. 17.5/18.5
