Michel Bettane and Thierry Desseauve: Very beautiful, dense, and classy volume; remarkably refined and taut tannins; brilliant length. Very beautifully done. 18

Michael Schuster: The Cabernet Franc freshness is clear to smell and taste; concentrated, elegantly balanced, fairly full-bodied wine. You do feel the 14.5% ABV, alongside the firm, long-term, slightly chewy texture; long, sweet fruit-cored, nicely sustained, and with fine spicy length. Here the ’09 seems finer and more flattering. Needs 8–10 years minimum. 15.5/16
