Andrew Jefford: Deep red-black in color. Rich, dense, and exuberantly fruity aromatic profile: deep, almost composted black fruits, with some freshly leafy edges. Articulate and showy. Intense, deep, searching flavors, again with that dramatic repertoire of black cherry and damson fruit, with lots of bright, lustrous, high-decibel acidity and some unabashed tannin, too. This is an energetic, forceful, action-packed, low-latitude Pinot that would be lots of fun to drink... for a glass or two. It would be easier to finish the bottle, though, with a little more softness, subtlety, and composure, and perhaps slightly more moderate acidity. Can the place deliver that? 15
