Tim Atkin: Developed garnet/brick red. Very aromatic, sweet nose; attractive, subtle, gentle tannins. Complex, spicy, sweet fruits, with pepper and Asian spices and length. Tannin and fruit are lovely together here. Excellent Aglianico 17.5

Nicolas Belfrage: Medium deep. Clean, easy fruit aroma, good fruit and correct tannin on palate, but lowish acidity indicates non-classic. Certainly needs food. Seems more alcoholic than it is 14

Bruno Besa: Black core to tawny rim. Mature, meaty nose, with prunes and orange skin and hints of cedar and smoke. Full body with exuberant yet fine tannins and long finish. A classic wine that is drinking beautifully now 17
