Tim Atkin: Mid-ruby/purple. Ripe, faintly pruney nose. Palate also very dry and tannic, with dried-fruit notes, medium acidity, and not quite enough fruit. Chewy finish 13

Nicolas Belfrage: Medium deep. A bit volatile on nose; very pointy acidity on palate, tending to VA. Good tannin and fruit, but slightly into the risk area, so not sure how it will develop— possibly brilliantly, but why don’t I believe it? 13.5

Bruno Besa: Black core to ruby/garnet rim. Slightly closed, smoky nose, yet with layered black fruit. Full-bodied palate, with clean yet not very complex fruit. A very well-made wine lacking in complexity 16
