BUY THE WINE

Tim Atkin: Dense purple/ruby edge. Some oxidation on the nose, but also a hint of pepper. Ripe, savory, some drying tannins, but good structure. Firm, slightly dry finish 11

Nicolas Belfrage: Another deep, dark brute. Hints of fruit on nose, also oak, nothing strong. Plenty of fruit on palate but a little flabby tannin wine, something of a hole in the middle, has power, lacks togetherness 14

Bruno Besa: Black core to garnet/tawny rim. Over the top, oxidized nose, with tannic, rustic palate 12
