Nicolas Belfrage: Deepish but not out of line. A little quiet on nose, bland on palate. Okay, but no excitement. Why would one pay the price? Quite short. Drink from 2012 - 13

Stephen Brook: Deep brick red. Tarry, meaty nose, a touch baked but not raisiny. Rich and suave, sumptuous and juicy, with big ripe tannins supporting the fruit. Acidity gives the wine vigor as well as opulence, if not quite the finesse and persistence I might hope for. But the concentration is admirable, and there is grip without astringency. Very good length. This will age well - 17.5

Jancis Robinson: Mid-ruby. Very volatile. But with some autumnal delights and an interesting tension between the ripe fruit and the edgy structure of the wine. Some slightly green notes on the finish. No shortage of tension. Drink 2013–19 - 17
