Nicolas Belfrage: Medium depth; correct color. Hint of roses on nose, but palate accentuates acidity. Fruit not presently shining through. Tannins firm; medium finish. Primary aromas are good, though; drink from 2015- 15.5:

Bruno Besa: Deep brick, garnet core to tawny rim. Open, elegant, clean nose of small fruits and oriental spices, with touches of tar, petrol, and rosewater. Medium to full body, with fragrant fruit and lively acidity, well supported by the clean rich fruit. Classy Barolo with a long life ahead 17.5

Jancis Robinson: Blackish crimson. Intense Nebbiolo nose, with notes of licorice. Very seductive aromatically and beautifully judged fruit on the front palate that slides into some pretty marked tannins and acidity on the finish. Very savory and appetizing, even if not for the short term. Drink 2015–25- 17 :
