Nicolas Belfrage: Correct bright garnet color. Very slight herbiness on nose. Red-berry fruits on palate, with a touch of sweetness on the close and a good dollop of tannin—not excessive, though; nor is the acidity. Clean and correct without rising to any great heights- 15.:

Bruno Besa: Deep garnet to tawny, yellow rim. Youthful, very clean nose of small red fruits, violets, and roasted nuts, with great minerallike complexity. Full body, with layered sweet fruit and a long, clean, and almost salty finish. Great, balanced, and restrained Barolo that needs food 17.5

Jancis Robinson: Orangy pale ruby. An unexpectedly oaky note on the nose. Very sweet and round and almost toffeed. Unusual and not the purest example. Easy to drink but rather atypical. A bit of nerve but just a bit too obvious and sweet. Drink 2014–20- 15.:
