Nicolas Belfrage: Very deep color! Can this be pure Nebbiolo? But a lot going for it on the nose: concentrated, intense plum and cherry, as well as vanilla. Creamy mouthfeel with very good acidity, packed with flavor. Impressive; this is extremely well-made wine, if not entirely typical. Drink from 2016+- 17:
Bruno Besa: Deep, black core to garnet rim. Closed black-fruit nose, with some spices and a hint of mint. Full body, with rich fruit and long length. Very modern- 15.:
Jancis Robinson: Very dark crimson. Doesn’t look like Barolo at all! Some oak. I might take it for a sophisticated Argentinian Malbec on the nose… Rather raw fruit. Bit of a caricature, really. Not a comfortable drink. Jagged. Drink 2015–20- 12 :
