Tim Atkin: Mid-ruby/red. Classic, spicy, cool-climate, Rhône-like nose. Light, yet appealing. Elegant, very fine on the nose. Palate on the light side, but I like the balance and finesse of this wine. The oak is well integrated, the fruit is savory and light, and the acidity lifts the finish 17
Stephen Brook: Deep red. Light fresh-cherry and red-fruit nose; has delicacy and charm rather than power. The palate seems much the same and is a touch too dilute to make this an impressive wine. Easygoing and lacks structure. Pretty but too insubstantial. Medium length 14.5
Alex Hunt: Comparatively pale, which has me intrigued already, and the color is matched by lovely delicate aromas of raspberry, pepper, and herbs. There is absolutely no lack of concentration on the palate, but there remains a lightness of touch and sense of harmony that set this wine apart 17
