Tim Atkin: Deep ruby/red, very youthful. Touch of meaty reduction on the nose, with some eucalyptus notes. Almost Chilean in style. Palate rather good: silky tannins, nice sweet red fruits, a hint of pepper spice, good oak integration and length. Not massively complex but a very drinkable wine 15.5

Stephen Brook: Very deep red. Rather stewed nose, sweet and overripe. Medium-bodied and supple, with a creamy texture and light tannins to support the fruit. It rather skates on the surface, but the dark-fruit character is attractive. Forward and less jammy than the nose. Has some charm but needs more drive. Moderate length 14

Alex Hunt: A pleasant, simple nose of blackcurrant boiled sweets leads to a slightly overserious palate, where high acidity and stern minerality conspire to mask the fruit that made the nose attractive in the first place. A bit of mission creep here 14
