Tim Atkin: Mid-ruby/purple. Youthful, vibrant, aromatic red. Light, green-pepper-andcranberry nose. Refreshing, almost Cab Franc-like; nice greenness, though there is a hint of smoky meat on the finish. Zesty, quite acidic red. Good with fatty food 14.5

Jesús Barquín: Medium-deep cherry. There is an evident greenish note on both the nose and palate, with a slight air of Cabernet Franc. Genuine and refreshing. Long. I like it very much, though I am aware this is close to the lower limit of ripeness, and those vegetal notes are offputting for some wine drinkers 16

Simon Field: Leafy Cabernet Franc aromas, with hints of forest floor and cinnamon, then a palate that is balanced, with crisp acidity, very supple tannins, and a clean, engaging structure 16.5
