Tim Atkin: Very pale, especially for a 2008. Minerally and taut and fresh. Saline, fresh, pine notes. Still showing very young on the nose. Fresh, sappy, citrus fruit and pine on the palate. Nice, minerally, citrus-fruit length 16

Nicolas Belfrage: 1 = color of water and 9 = deep gold: Col 2. Very clean and pure, crystal clear and bone-dry but with plenty of flavor. Salty and spicy, has individuality and typicity 17

Alex Hunt: Despite the lively, pale color, the nose here shows quite a lot of savory development. The flavor is aggressively chalky; there is little fruit left but no real emergence of relaxed tertiary notes either. This is a wine in stasis, aging without developing 13.5
