BUY THE WINE

Tim Atkin: Bright lemon/green. Lovely vanilla, floral scents, savory and complex. Evidence of some oak on the palate, with freshness, sappy, almost saline acidity and subtle, grapefruit, nettle, apple, and pear notes. Fine-boned, refreshing, subtle, and very long. This should also develop further in bottle 18

Nicolas Belfrage: 1 = color of water and 9 = deep gold: Col 2. Boiled sweets on nose and palate. No great character 12

Alex Hunt: Strong aromas of crème brûlée here— the excitement of just-burned sugar. The palate manages to retain some of this vibrant character despite obvious richness and weight. The finish tends to the flabby end of the spectrum, but there is a satisfying if simple flavor hit here 15.5
