Tim Atkin: Very pale green/straw. Very focused, minerally, Chablis-like nose. Classic Carricante nose: saline and minerally. Palate, too: crunchy, fresh, and long, with lovely freshness and zest. Oyster shell and freshness and zip. Very long. Still young, but should age, too 17.5

Nicolas Belfrage: 1 = color of water and 9 = deep gold: Col 3. Promising nose of undergrowth and coconut. Quite concentrated on palate; strictly dry on finish, though could do with a couple grams of residual sugar to sex it up. A wine, in my view, more to be admired than drunk 14.5

Alex Hunt: Very rubbery aroma; a suggestion of heat, with odd berry-fruit notes. Chewy, tannic, low-acid palate that is markedly unappealing. Mouth-filling and distinctive it may be, but this is uncompromising past the point of pleasure 12.5
