Tim Atkin: Bright, green/lemon hued. Spice, herbs, and citrus-fruit nose. Some phenolics on the palate, but there’s good weight and texture, too: pears and some stone fruit, with a herbal twist. A little fat on the finish? 15

Nicolas Belfrage: 1 = color of water and 9 = deep gold: Col 2.5. Fresher, characterful nose of type: vinous and mineral. Minerality repeated on palate and a certain Chardonnay-like butteriness as well, which doesn’t suit the genre. Still, this is much nearer to classic Soave than [Coffele Soave Ca’Visco 2011] 14

Alex Hunt: Deep-colored, heavily scented, and thick-textured, this young Soave is hard work. It has impressive concentration, and a bit of lift from some residual CO2 but lacks freshness of fruit or complexity of aroma 13.5
