Tim Atkin: Developed color. Prematurely so? Honeyed and quite fat. Bitter, extracted, and tired. Phenolic and dull. Old before its time 10

Nicolas Belfrage: 1 = color of water and 9 = deep gold: Col 2. There are clean, sulfury, volcanic aromas here. Pure minerality and volcanic rock, beautifully balanced on palate. Salty, savory, biscuity flavors are nicely balanced by a firm acidity. Dry but not aggressively so. This is a brilliant vino di volcano 17

Alex Hunt: Cloudy and clearly Sherried on the nose. Rather soft, semi-neutral. This is caught between two stools. A full-on oxidized style might have been fun, but this is a compromise that fails to press either button 13
