Tim Atkin: Mid-ruby/purple. Lovely, complex, savory nose, Pinot meets Syrah, with some whole bunch. Soft, supple, raspberry and wild strawberry. Complex, some coffee and savory fruit. Good acidity and length. Touch of white pepper and green pepper. Fresh acidity- 18.5

Alex Hunt: Very engaging nose, blending just the right amount of minerally reduction with pepper, clove, and fresh blackberry fruit. Very elegant, Francophone palate, nothing out of place, with plenty of intensity but a pure, linear feel, too- 17

Anthony Rose: Deeply colored and intensely aromatic; fascinating, intense nose of almond, black cherry, plum, and pepper; lovely black-fruit flavors infused with loads of pepper and spice; deliciously rich and intense fruit quality, with fine spice and pepper; lovely savory acidity and silkiness of texture- 18.5
