Tim Atkin: Mid-ruby/purple. Spice and pepper on the nose. Complex, savory, balanced; lovely use of oak, nice acidity, elegant, refined. Lovely, spicy, dense, complex, nice acidity, very floral, very long. Lovely, fragrant, balanced wine- 18.5

Alex Hunt: A fairly dark, savory nose, with a trace of alcohol. Full but still quite neat, with good fruit concentration, fairly plush tannins, but bright acidity pulling the palate together- 14.5

Anthony Rose: Good rich color, attractively aromatic with classic undertones of pepper and spice, fine concentrated richly opulent blackfruit flavors with lovely sinewy tannin structure and intensity of flavor, just starting to move to secondary-fruit characters supported by fine-boned frame of tannins and savory acidity; very well-crafted cool climate Syrah- 17.5
