Michael Edwards: A sustained Welsh-gold hue, this Réserve is the real champion this year: great weight and density but much lighter on its feet than in previous years, the amount of new oak reduced significantly. Much complexity still to show. A truly great wine that bears comparison with the finest of the Côte d’Or. 19
