Tim Atkin: Medium ruby/purple. Some development. Simple, sweet, oaky, and slightly confected fruit. A little sweet and jammy. Touch of pepper, sweet oak. But simple. Damson and raspberry fruit- 14

Alex Hunt: Signs of oxidation here: autumn leaf and fudgy aromas. Quite pruney on the palate, though not without some mineral complexity alongside. Overall, however, this is rather dark and murky in character- 12

Anthony Rose: Dense in colour; the nose is sweet and almost cassis liqueury with a dense black-cherry-and-plum fruitiness. Similarly on the palate: lots of sweet black-cherry/ kirsch fruit that’s verging on the Porty but not baked. A powerful, rich, and impressive style seemingly more warm-climate than most- 16.5
