Nicolas Belfrage: (cc: water-pale = 1; deep gold = 9) cc2. Nose a bit bruised apple. Quite sour without redeeming features; very dry, with acidity in ascendant and not enough behind. It’s drinkable, but I can think of lots of other wines I’d rather drink—like all the Italians and all the New Zealanders. With oysters, maybe? 11

Marcel Orford-Williams: Sweet ’n’ sour smell. Quite tight and a bit lean, especially on finish, but there is fruit. Might have done better with just a touch of sweetness. Light and refreshing - 15

Joanna Simon: Pale, bright straw, with a hint of green. Ripe, but not overly fruit aromas, with smoke and minerals. Fresh, dry, appley fruit, with spicy and mineral notes. Fairly dry; medium-bodied, with some texture and good acidity. Some concentration. Well made but not complex- 14.5
